The Mayor of the town of Guaranda in Ecuador comes out to the hospital and thanks us for our work restoring eyesight to the blind people in Guaranda.
He gives us each a certificate of appreciation for everything that we do in Guaranda.He invites us back anytime we wish to come and do humanitarian work in the hospital. His town sponsors all our team food with 3 meals a day and our room stay in the local hospital El Tambo.They appreciate our visit as there is no ophthalmologist nearby and the poor people can’t afford to go to the big city and pay for the surgeries they need to take care of their eye problems.
